I just measured current draw on a freshly charged AW Protected RCR123, 1.57mAh.

These beam shots are using freshly charged AW Protected RCR123's.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Hyperion CE-R got very warm while taking these beam shots. The Fenix P1D CE not as warm

I really like the UI of the Hyperion CE-R. The light remembers what intensity was set last.

The modes on my light are medium, low, high, strobe and blinking.

The bean is very smooth.

Excellent pictures as usual. You are number one!

My Hyperion has been shipped Monday (order #188) so I guess I'll have to wait a while....:sigh:

this little thing is heat up pretty quickly.
so what i did to cool it off?
i put it in the water about 3 feet deep and it cool off just for few seconds :D
lucky this thing is water-resistant :D

The only drawback to the Hyperion CE-R is lanyard holes are drilled crooked.

My holes are crooked as well, wonder whats up with that. Someone did not line something up right. Not a big issue to me though.

Just got mine in the mail. Fit and finish, general quality, etc are nowhere near what the old Arc LS lights were, but it is bright, white and a good value.

I'm starting to think these are drilled this way on purpose. I'm not sure what the purpose is though. The reason I think so is because it is exactly the same way on the C-LE.
