I yesterday got my newest and most bling flashlight yet, thanks to To TITAN1833 releasing it for sale, I was lucky enough to trade my AE light PL-24 + a cash balance to get my hands on a McGizmo Ti :D

So now I have a Ti XR-19PD its beautiful, I hadn't realised how much I would like Ti, its very tactile, the bare metal, I am now a complete Ti convert, I put a couple of pictures of it in collections, so I won't repeat them here. But mostly thanks to TITAN and McGizmo for making this possible

Congradulations.
Ti is an amazing material. After a while you may find yourself looking to buy anything you possiply can made in the stuff. Cameras, watches, knives forkes.and of course more flashlights.
Have fun.

Congrats! These have been so tempting to me. I used to have Ti PDA case, have a Ti knife, am considering a Ti road bicycle, and am getting a hunger for a Ti McGizmo, maybe a PD-S. We'll see.

A Ti road bike and a Ti McGizmo???

I don't see these as the musings of a casual collector but they seem to me to be the forecasts of a determined and discriminating flashaholic and cyclist.

I can't wait till you get one of each or 2 of 1 and 1 of the other.

Thanks Goatee, but I'm more of a duffer and amateur geek who appreciates daily items of intrinsic artistic value and functional beauty: for example, McGizmo lights, my M-180, early-gen Canondale mountain bikes (never owned one), the single-minded efficiency and design of the Lotus Elise/Exige (maybe I'll buy one when we go public), and the welcome smiles of my family when I walk in the door at the end of a long, long day. And the beauty of a good single malt scotch or port. Not necessarily in that order! ;)

Plus a few good friends, in-person and a few online too.

I too am enjoying my first Ti light! I just wish I could afford to buy more of them. Well, where there's a will there's a way...so I will not tell my wife.:sssh:

heres the frankenPD's :D

My prized Al PD from chellyc
and my Ti get a mixed up,

The Al head on Ti body works in all modes, but the Ti head on the Al body only when the piston is used

So I've started EDCing 2 lights now, I've tried before when I thought as a seasoned flashaholic I should, but never found the right lights.
Now 2 PD's are a whole different kettle of fish :naughty: , overall I prefer the warm tint of the Al PD (possibly V1?) to the cooler white of the XR-19. I use them outdoor a lot and colour rendition is important so the Al stays in my right pocket, when I need flood out comes the XR-19.

yes, 1 - The Al PD, 2 - the Ti XR-19

Too perfect :D, I thought it was, the one I had before was UV1J and I got to love the tint, before that I was a W0 fan but now I much prefer the warmer tints. Thanks Chelly
