Illuminator III by Lambda

Hey anybody get one? I am impressed with mine.
Bright White runs on AA's.

Works great, except with my NiMhs.
Looks like the converter board is set 60 thousands higher than my illuminator pro. Thus, I had to modify my tailcap, so that when I put it on, the light didn't automatically turn on permanently.

Sucks lot of power.
Mine draws 1.81 amps off 1800s.
Run time with these is about 40 minutes.

For comparison, with the same battery set:
Ill Lux3 1.81amps
Ill Pro 0.99 amps
Ill Ld 0.63 amps

I am using the Rayovac 15Min recharge batts I think they are
NiMhs I just thought they were big time bright for 2 AA's
