Great info in this site and thanks to everyone for helping to light the way for me.

Quick question, in the Inova T4 doc it says that the charger LED will be solid blue when charging and solid green when fully charged. Mine does appear to be solid blue when charging but "flashes blue" when charged. Is this the norm???

Also any holster recommendations would be appreciated, hate to drop this thing :(

THANKS!

I see this was moved and I apologize for posting in the general discussion forum. I figured this was "general flashlight discussion" since it had to do with the Inova "charger" LED and not neccesarily the LED flashlight. THX!

The early versions of the charger had only the blue LED.

Later versions had the duo blue/green LED.

As far as I know, there are no other differenced between the chargers -- I have a blue-only version at home, and my workplace has a green/blue version. I did not notice any differences except the colors.

You also have to watch out, as my light would lose contact on the charger sometimes and flash blue. I would have to play with the light on the charger a bit till it went back to solid blue, then it turn green when complete. Next time it flashes on you, see if moving the light around changes anything.

Thanks elgarak, I think i have the latest model but there is not a green LED on the charger so i could be wrong? THX

I have a T4. If it's flashing blue you have to re-seat the light on the charger. Wiggle it around or take it off and put it back on. Mine does that from time to time.

My T4 (2006 Tiros version).

Charging - Solid Blue

Almost Done - Flashing Blue

Fully Charged - Green

my new T4 (2007) will be steady blue , then flashing blue ,then green . I will start the vehichle and it will start flashing blue again . my older T4 never did that. not sure whats up with that.I direct wired mine to the vehichle power. ( I did open up the cig plug to make sure there was no regulator hidden inside it)
