For the first time I'm thing of getting an inova
x5t. I like it's compact size and waterproofness.
but how bright is it in terms of lumen? I haven't
seen any introduction on that.

IMHO, the KL1 spanks it

just my HO.

Thanx Josh and Nascar, I'm waiting for my kl3 instead of kl1. I'm interested in x5t not for costs but its shape and waterproofness. I'm not familiar with Arcs though. But I know they are by no means cheap.

If you really want to save money on the X5t, find the nearest Gun Show. The Gun Show here in Orange County has vendors selling them for $25-30 for the X5t. The next good Gun Show in So Cal is the Costa Mesa Gun show off the 55fwy, Nov 30-Dec 1

You guys are comparing Luxeon Stars to 5 LEDs...apples & oranges, eh?

I've got to say that my X5T is very bright and indeed functions as it is designed. Once again, I'll say this, "I have a box full of tools, but never use all of them at the same time"!

And once again...how many of you have seen two Luxeon Stars that are alike? My Reactor is very white, centered beam, (though not as bright as my LS - can't compare to the KL1, "Santa" Mailman hasn't arrived yet!)...Either I received a "good one out of the bunch" or they have improved their product. Everything I'm reading lately, indicates that they are improving. I'm ordering 5 more for gifts.

mine is bright but not that bright, but the only thing i have for comparison is my SF M2 and it spanks it lol, but i guess thats what happens when you are draining 2 123's in 30 min compared to 20 hours.

Hey..M6, thats not that far from me, I guess I will see you there. I will look for the guy with M6?

Back on topic:

My X5-T is as bright as my Puke Green reactor on lithiums. The throw is about the same, but the X5-t has a wider coverage area IMO.

Thanx guys for your inputs. Think i'll get a x5t next year. (if the price is good)
