Are there any sites that are selling the clickie tailcap used on the T series that will work on a Xo3? I love mine except for the twist cap.

Have you asked Inova directly? Someone here posted a while back that s/he talked to Inova and that they sell the clicky for $20.

Thanks elgarak. I will give them a call. I didn't even think they would sell direct

Why don`t you just buy a T1 at ~ 35.-USD and change the tailcap to the XO3 if needed!? That`s only 15.-USD more as a single clickie but for a complete light.
Only my 2eurocents.

Wrangler,
Are eurocents worth less, I am not sure what ths exchange is. Buying a T1 is a thought but my budgets have gotten tighter because I am buying a house, then again we are only talking about $15 or so hmmm.

I have an x03 as well, and wanted to purchase a T3 tailcap. after emailing inova they stated they do not sell parts because everything is under warranty. They actually ended up sending me one for free!

I have similar questins for you guys. It´s regarding the clicktail. I have an XO and it´s standard with a twist tail which i don´t like. I would mouch more like to have a click tail instead. Will the click tails that are on the T2 and the T3 fit on the Inova XO?
Thank´s in advance... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

By the way i have to ask you how did you get in touch with Inova? They have never answered any single mail that i have sent to them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

Let's take the first question first: yes the tailcaps are the same

Second question: the guy resposible for answering emails is Matt Wolfe, in charge of the government and law enforcement sales division. His mother also owns the company. In his own words, he gets "ten thousand emails a day from government agencies wanting to buy their lights". So he's really busy.

The answer also might be that IMHO he has a slightly sour attitude about CPF....mostly due to the many emails and phone calls he's received from only a "handful" of CPFers (the same people all the time) complaining about their lights not being "white enough" (I've never seen an Inova Luxeon light that wasn't pure white'; I personally own about two dozen Inovas, and have gotten lights for almost a hundred people), or compaining that their light wasn't "bright enough" (the last CPFer he got a returned XO from, with the complaint that it wasn't bright enough, complaint accompanied by accusations of "poor quality control", etc., was simply suffering from dead batteries. He sent the fellow a new set of batteries no charge).

My impression of Inova customer service is that they will do anything reasonable to keep a customer happy. You may wish to try phoning them (number on their webpage) with any reasonable requests I'm sure they will try to accommodate you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thank´s for the info,Steve.

Is there ten of thousands email at day to Inova? I knew that i was not the only one out there, but i did not knew that there was SO many emails a day /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif!
I guess that i have to try to get in touch with them with a phone call,it looks like the best way. I realy would like to have the click tail instead of the twist tail.
