Ok I have a question for all you smart people out there.

My friend has a cheap *** 4WD LED light bar and his brother owns an expensive 4WD LED light bar.

The expensive one has it all over the other one no brainer you pay for what you get.

My Question is what is in the expensive led bar that gives it the constant light output ? As you can fit this into a 24v vehicle and the light output is the same as it is in a 12v vehicle. But if we plug the cheaper led bar into a 24v vehicle it becomes a lot brighter than it did when plugged into a 12v vehicle. It still is nowhere near the brightness as the expensive one.

Both lights are rated as 9v-32v input. So what is the part called that the expensive light has and the other one does not?

I know we can just add a 24v step up convertor but we are thinking of playing around with the cheap one.

thanks for any help
