Product is;
A drop in replacement for a mag 2 cell case.
Take my word for it;
This one is not for everyone!!!!!
#1 It's a nonstocked unit.
#2 there's a reason why;
The 20 T5 leds that came with it appear about 10-15 years too late!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif
It just doesn't have the guts.
My Rayovac "3 in 1" headlight is actually close with it's TWO red T5 leds in performance to the mc660's output. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
mc660= $55 plus 15 for mag case = $70 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smoker5.gif
Rayovac 3 in 1 headlight = $13 tt&l included. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon8.gif
Go with a trilight red or red/orange instead. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I wish I had. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif
Screenshots coming soon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif
Voltage; 2.7 (Energizer C Nimh 2200)
Current: 450ma. (still less than the stock bulb's 850ma) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
This kit still looks good for use in a photolab or any film processing out in the wilderness though with it's really deep red output.

The MC660 is not a very bright unit; send it back for a FULL refund, and I will make you a deal on a *DEADLY* bright TriLight RED or RED/ORANGE

Thanks Mike. I'll do that tomorrow (after I get some good sleep). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I look forward to putting Trilight red/orange to "serious" use. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Let me put it this way, the RED and RED/ORANGE TRILIGHT is SOO incredibly bright, that even in a brightly lit room - you do not want to look at your HAND that you shine the adapter on

I look forward to taking a picture of the Trilight red/orange completely WIPING OUT my 3-in-1 2red led headlight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif

And I can't wait for the picture of your Trilight red/orange completely WIPING OUT your Ray-O-Vac 3-in-1 two red LED headlight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mail recieved:
No trash found.
Looks like my 2 little red headlamp leds are indeed going to get lost in a superior glow in a week or two. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Thanks Mike. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh, that mailbox.... cool! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
oh-well, way past my bedtime. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon6.gif
I've been up since 11:00 (military) yesterday. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drool.gif
Goodnight........

I've run single 1W red and red/orange Luxeon Star LEDs direct drive from 2 D cells and it is a fearsome sight.... Even 2AAs in a modified Brinkmann"long life" is almost deadly...

Do not look into Trilightd with remaining eye.

I have a confession to make:
I'm still sitting on that mc660, awaiting the trilight red/orange.
I remembered sayng to go with the trilight;
I want to take a couple of pics showing why.
Plus I really began to feel sorry for the 2 led headlight and it's imminent upcoming defeat and /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif thought it could us a little help from the mc660 when placed next to the trilight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Based on what I have heard about trilight red/orange, it should make the 2led headlight and mc660 look quite diminutive and more than justify the extra $40.
We *will* see any day now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/popcorn.gif
I should have that mc660 in the mail back to Inretech as soon as I'm done humiliating it with the TL. (won't take more than a day /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif )

I have the trilight red/orange now.
See my post on it via the search option above.
It really blows away mc660 even in a 2cell case. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm a happy camper now.
Thanks Inretech.

Glad to help, I will be updating the Webpage/Store to inform people of the brightness of the MC660 so this confusion does not happen again

The TriLight Red/Orange is a real "show stopper" - at the Gun Shows/Auto Shows - I point it at MY HAND and let the people look at that, its WAY too bright to point at someone
