First one took takes 2D cells and has control panel with LCD and brightness control. Light is all plastic with vent holes in the side. Does not look rugged or weatherproof. Has nice textured deep parabolic reflector that looks like it would give a nice bright throw. I think it was discussed here once.

The second is a smaller version with a "scroll mouse" brightness control dial. I think it took 3AAA. Anyone have beamshots on this one?

Saw them a couple weeks ago. Don't recall the brand.
Thanks
