Is a Mag 2c HID possible?

I've searched here, and if there are any threads on it, I sure have missed them.

Just didn't know if its even possible. I love the 2C form factor ( I already own a 2D mag85 that I love) and I just figured boy it would be cool to shoehorn one in.

Anyone attempted this?

i guess not since i think the smallest HID ballast is the welch Allyn 10W...and it only fits the m@g 2D body(which needs some boring as well)..so i guess no 2C HID..for the moment..

Cool, thanks for the info, I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I have a 2c sitting here that I want to do something really different in. There's already plenty of multi-led/hotwire combinations out there, just looking to what may be next.

well if you go for the 2c mag to 3 cr123 mod you get an good package

If you can make a custom ballast that fits in the light, and have the ballast run off of a single C sized Li-ion battery(not sure how the battery will handle it), it might work.
