Is there a list of protected Li-Ion compatible flashlights somewhere?

Was going to pick up some AW protected 14500s but after reading some reviews of 14500 flashlights, it seems that the protected 14500's don't fit in all 14500 lights. Is there a reference list somewhere that lists which lights the protected 14500s will fit into?

Thanks.

Its more a matter of "Does the light's voltage support 14500 cells" vs. "Will they fit. The first thing you need to do is ensure that the input voltage of the light is around 4.2V. You can use them with lower voltage lights, but I don't recommend it.

Some single AA lights that take 14500s are:

JetBeam MKIIx
Rexlight 2.0 (a 2.1 Version is coming soon)

I was just curious since the UltraFire C3 look interesting but the battery tube is too narrow for protected 14500s. These other 14500 lights look interesting but there is no information as to whether or not protected 14500s fit in them.

I know that the L1D-CE can use protected 14500s since chevrofreak has listed RT graphs for them. And selfbuilt has RT graphs for the X.1 and Rexlight so those can take protected 14500s.

Thanks.

Where are you finding protected 14500 cells?

Edit: Never mind this post, I see AW's 14500 cells are protected.

LOL! I looked at this topic, naturally assuming he was asking about fitting 4x 14500 (or 14670) in a Maglite. Nevermind.
