Hi,

I was looking for best rechargeable 18650 battery. I planned for one, but I'm not good in this. Although I know it's AW, but I need your comment and advice :)

This is the battery I have choosen. rechargeable, AW type, and HIGH capacity:

these two are about the same battery except for capacity:

My concern, why do they label " + power " for the lower capacity, and don't do for the higher ?!!
were they just an old, or what ?

and your advice for my choice please :)

Thanks

What do you plan to power with the battery?

Will the configuration consist of one or multiple cells?

Do you know the approximate current draw that you will require from the 18650?

Some cells are good for current output, some better for runtime. These are a good, solid middle-ground: http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Li-ion-Tenerg...796783785?pt=US_Batteries&hash=item3368838ca9

Read some posts about batteries in this forum. I will try and find you some links to test data on current draw and perhaps runtime for various brands, as I am also still in the market for quality 18650s for a double-stack configuration in this light: http://cgi.ebay.com/1400-lumen-Zoom...0488324?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item1e63a09984.

I don't think the labeling difference has any significance to the performance of the batteries. I have a couple of AW 18650 2900 Mah cells and they perform very well. IMO, you can't buy a better cell than AW.
