Well although i am no flashaholic the quality of what turned up on my door was quite amazing and although it did not cost the earth price is not always a sign of quality. Threads are nice, nice bit grease at the o ring and two spare rings plus clicky cover and lanyard. The brightness control is excellent and i think the actual design is great also and perfect size for my hand. All in all a quality light and a great price, if there other lights are as good a finish people should give them serious consideration when looking for a light. Two things I would like to point out first and this was picked up in the excellent review by selfbuilt
but missed by me when reading the review when you turn the light of if you turn back on again within 5 seconds it moves onto the next output "userdefined/strobe/sos" which i don't like, i wish they would move these functions into a seperate area i know other manufacturers do, i don't know if this is a simple software reprogram required but it would be nice if maybe you had to hold the clicky down for a few sections before these could be accessed. Lastly and this goes for a lot of flashlight this size i think they are to big for your keys and to be lying in your pocket all cr123a size torches in my opinon should come with a clip so you can hook them to the inside of your pocket that way you would hardly notice it was there. Anyway just my 2p worth. 8 out of 10.

comments welcome.

Maybe you should have bought an iTP SC1, it is a 123-light that comes with a clip and has a switch on the side for switching modes.

yeah I seen that one but just did not like the design as much, I think it looks strange with the clip fixed halfway up the flashlight. Just thought the C9 was a lot better looking, just needs a clip. The old design over practical use.

Just had my first flash outside and can't believe how much light comes out this little thing and some good throw. Although when i first turned it on i was a bit dissapointed until I turned on the strobe then realised I had ramped the constant brightness halfway down. Turned it back up and :D, Still needs a clip.

I have the C9 and the C7. The heads are interchangable.I have one Tand one R. I agree, these could use a clip. I have enjoyed both of these lights, they work well, and the varied output comes in very handy.

yeah paul the variable output is great, i have 3 gripes.
1 sos is actually sososososo and so on there is not the right gap between sos and sos.
2 the 5 second wait you have after off before turning back on to avoid it moving on to strobe.
3 no clip.
change they 3 things and it's a winner.
