its LeadLight Lithium APC Pointer. They come in black usually, but i saw them in taiwan custom imprinting this one. It costs about 7$ more than the non-lithium leadlights, its nothing special, just has the name on it.

Why doesn't everyone sell them then? a shorter laser might be useful... how long does the battery last? does it really monitor and adjust it's output in real time?

It usualy lasts about 6-8 hours.
