JET-III M failure

Hello,

I am a JETBeam fan and have used them on duty as an LEO for the past 2 years. I just wanted to share the recent failure of my Jet-III M R5. The light was bought new in February and started service on the street in May of this year. The light has been used as my primary during the midnight shift and I never had any issues with its operation.

This week I found the light to be broken at the threads, where you engage the UI. I have contacted JETBeam and have yet to hear a response. This should be covered under warranty as it appears they over milled the piece that holds the circuitry.

Ouch! Hope it didn't fail on you while using it on-duty.

JetBeam should fix that under warranty. Let us know when you hear from them.

I wish it broke doing something awesome, then I could have the department replace it. It broke in my pocket :banghead:

Update; I returned the JetBeam to Battery Junction and received a new one. In the meantime I purchased a Thru Night Scorpion and love it, it has gone everywhere with me since September, what a great light.
