My E3P might soon become my nightstand light if I find a new EDC... I would really like to have a tritium insert installed... Is there someone on here that performs this type of service?
There are surely people who perform this kind of service, but it has to be possible...
I also have an E3P and I'm a trit freak as well. I just took the light, checked it and I didn't find a place where there could be enough material to install a trit. I guess you think about the button, but the metal is just a cap and not a massive button, I fear that it isn't thick enough to install a trit.
The light is heavy and the walls feel thick, there's a plastic sleeve inside the light giving you a wrong feeling though, the walls are quite thin... :sigh:
Good point... I just figured there was a place somewhere on the light.
I guess I will just have to attach a "keychain" trit to the lanyard holes.
Does anyone know a good source for a keychain trit out there? The good ones in the CPF marketplace don't seem to be available anymore... and the only one I can find online looks very small.
I have a few of them, the plastic (or epoxy) is crystal clear and the trits very bright and nice in color. The only disadvantage is that they currently come without any ring.
