Just bought two spotlight ,,with flat batteries

well the title says it :mecry:
They are of this type

not exactly mine are the ones with two 6volt 4AH sealed lead batteries

when i got them ,there was absolutely no power ,not even a glimpse when i did try them out :candle:

i have now charged them for 12 hours ,
the light is very yellow ,no way the 100watt they should be and only for a short time

is the batteries fubar ,
anything i can do ?

I would return it for a refund from the store you bought them at. Yes SLA batteries can take a dump if over-discharged and not taken care of properly. A fair percentage of used SLA spotlights on ebay are intentionally sold without the cells to save on shipping, being that the spent cells are no good anyways.
