We all know there is a HUGE problem with the B90 battery.
I received a set of CL09 battery's about 3 weeks ago. Of course these won't hold a charge much beyond 48 hours.

Anyway the very nice lady I spoke to in CS admitted that they are aware of the problem. She admitted that the Techies are working on it. She said the estimated sample battery's from a new manufacturer where expected in about 45 days and would be tested. She also said that it was not really beleived that the charger was the problem, but that in the event new batteries from a new source where no better the charger would be the next thing looked at.
She also said they had a small stock of tested battery's and would send me a set for my 8NX, when I said I had CL09 and didn't really want another set of these she EXPLAINED these where from a tested lot . Anyway we shall see. It sounds like it'll be about 6 months before a fix is really settled. At least this call was better than the one yesterday some CS guy said, HUH!!!! first I've heard of this , I just wanted to reach through the phone and /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif him with the base of my 8NX. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get them and run some un scientific type tests

I received 2 of the "tested" batteries last month. So far, they are performing properly. I haven't really done a scientific test on them, but they are holding a charge at least a week, which is as long as I've let them sit so far. I'll charge one up, label it, and let it sit for a few weeks and report back.

If it loses about 50% in 30 days it's in spec.
They told me it shhould run at about 1 1/2%-2% per day self discharge. I can live with that, 75% discharge in 3 days is unacceptable.
