Hi guys,

Got a K2 UWOE here, going to be putting it a Novatac tonight, hopefully get some help in working out which way round it goes.

one corner has a chamfer cut out, is this the +'ve connection so this connects to the positive wire

Also how do I work work which is the positive of the 2 wires coming in my novatac, I have a voltmeter which can read volts and amps but I dont know how to work it properly

Only two of the four are connected & used for power. The power leads are the ones closest to the cut corners with the half circle. The positive lead is on the side of the LED with the chamfered corner. Let me know if you need a picture.

Yes that will work fine too.

Here's some pics to help.

With all the Novatacs I've done, with the bigger hole on top, the left side would be negative. Don't take my word for it though & double check yours first. On the Seoul the side with the slit in the short leads in negative.

for LEDs, regular diodes, and transistors....multimeter is your friend. set it on ohms and it'll show you which way current pass:devil:

Does chamfered corner mean the corner that is cut at a diagonal?
