I switched back to the MN03 myself as well. That beam is just awesome mix of throw and flood, smooth as a babies bottom. I don't mind the yellow, its no worse than the spectral variety that most of the Luxeon lottery comes up with. LED's do in fact have artifacts, not Mag light or anything but they are there. With the money I saved using incandescent I can buy replacement bulbs until something better in the LED world comes along.

PS every try to tell if your steak is done by using an LED? BS LED's produce better color rendition.

LED's do have a real advantage using up dead batteries though.

Phew! I like incandescent and led. I like those hot wire bulbs that burn a hole in the air. I also like the descent output, and run time of led lights in a small format, like the VIP.
