KL5???

Is the KL5 available yet? I know the L5 is out there, but I haven't seen any KL5's for sale. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have two C2's I would like to convert to (5W) LED

They might sell just the KL5, but I don't think you will save much money. It would probably be cheaper to buy the L5 and sell the body and clickie tailcap seperate.

The same is true on the KL6, the L6 package is a much better deal. I'm pretty sure if he has one available, Dan at TW would sell you just the KL5, but he will also tell you that it is better to do what Sean said [Buy L5, sell the C2].

I think SF are a bit behind with filling out Dan's orders. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I know that Dan only has them as complete lights. I've been waiting for a black KL5 and a normal KL6 since Christmas.

Thanks for the input. I hadn't even considered selling the C2's and buying the L5. That make sense because I would probably be paying a premium for an L5 canabalized to make up a KL5 since the dealer will have to cover the expense of the left over parts of the L5.
