I use my Kodak K2000 AAA/AA charger for my NiMh. I like it because it charges at a moderately fast rate.
Lately, the charging light blinks for one cell. I don't know if its a faulty battery or a faulty charger slot.
Do nimh's go bad like nicads?

That is suppose to indicate a bad cell. I have found it also indicates a really dead cell. Try putting it in a different location in the charger and see if it always flashes. If the flashing follows where you put the battery then the battery is the problem. If any battery you put in that location makes it flash, then it is the charger.

If it is the battery and you have some way to chare it up a bit, like putting it in parallel with a alkaline battery for a min or so, then drop it in the charger again. It might work to get it to charge again. But then again it might be dead for good.

Running NiMH completely dead, as in 0 volts is bad for them, and causes them to die relatively quickly.

That's something I've never knew. The battery was a less than a yr old energizer 1850mah. Which I thought was one of the best. I was wondering why even after 12hrs the light keeps on blinking.
