LA/Orange County

Are there any LA/Orange County get together? I just got a K40vn54 and want it to stretch its legs. I'm kind of embarrassed to play with it outside fearing my neighbor might think I'm weird.

Although there are a fair number of CPF members in LA/Orange county, I'm not aware of any planned get-togethers. There have been some in the past. However, my knife club, the USN (Usual Suspect Network) is having a SoCal Chapter Meet & Greet tomorrow at the Fuddrucker's in Buena Park at 11 am until 2 or 3. Many USNers are CPFers, too and the USN has its own forum on flashlights, The Light Stuff. So, you are welcome to join us for good food, camaraderie and more than a few knives and other gear. Most of us are just back from our own show in Las Vegas, The Gathering of the Usual Suspect Network #5, so everyone will be showing off what they bought, traded or won. I've been a CPF member for 12 years, a Surefire dealer for 18 years and also deal in Fenix, Olight, HDS, FourSevens and other fine lights. Bring your light, you'll be among friends. We usually eat near the patio and then transition outside to show off our knives so as not to 'frighten the horses' -- also known as 'sheeple'. Hope to see you there!

Same here. I just moved from the NE and have attended a milkyspit hosted gtg in the past. Would be nice to meet/greet with socal natives.
