Lanyard help please

Can someone please tell me if the lanyard that comes with this carrier (http://www.surefire.com/SC1-Spares-Carrier) is the same as the one that comes on the L1 lumamax?(size, color, clips etc.) I know it doesnt come with the ring for the flashlight no prob though because the light I ordered already has one. If so Im looking for an L1 lanyard but if I can get this carrier for 5 or so more dollars Im going to go with that deal instead!

Different clips. The spares carrier (I got a SC2) clip is much smaller than the lanyard clip and it doesn't have a gate. Just tried putting the spares carrier lanyard on the L1 and it wont fit.

Your right, it sure Looks like a difference to me! damn, oh well now I guess I have to find both, a lanyard and a battery case :shakehead lol
