Laser pointers - pls help

I want to buy a portable green/red laser pointer that uses AAA or AA batteries. Could anyone kindly tell me:

1.) What's the maximal power output possible for such a laser pointer?
2.) Where can I buy it from the internet (the cheapest).

Again, for all you purchasing these very high power laser pointers, please use caution

The 5mm limit was basically set in hopes that the eye would be able to blink or protect itself from an accidental exposure

With powers exceeding 5mw, the possibilities for eye damage are greater, I would hate to see someone lose one of the most wonderfull of senses simply for the fun of someone else

It would be very easy to accidently point the laser pointer at some reflective object and do serious damage to the eye, or a child playing with it

One of my classmates in grade school lost vision in one of his eyes for the rest of his life, due to a stupid accident as a kid
