Just wanted to throw this out there, I'm currently working on a webpage / Chrome extension / Android app for doing laser safety calculations. At the moment, it's not much at all, but hopefully will have a lot more features in the future.
Current Calculations:
Safety is always the most important thing when dealing with lasers, so I figured that making it easier for those who aren't good with math / don't know how to do the calculations, I'd make things simple.

Once the webpage has everything I want, I'll then convert over to the Chrome extension for ease of use, plus the Android app for mobile use.
Current Calculations:
- Distances:
- Safe* direct view (pointed straight at you)
- 50/50 chance of retinal damage
- Flashblind (you know, that quick temporary blindness from a bright light)
- Glare distance
- Distraction distance (i.e. for pilots)
- Minimum OD Rating recommendation (for those all important safety glasses!)
