Leatherman PS4

I was wondering if anyone has heard about when the Leatherman Squirt PS4 will be released? I'm really interested in getting one to replace my Micra for EDC. It will be awesome to have pliers and scissors.

It looks like a nice upgrade of theP4, except you sacrifice the small screw driver (which I find very useful) and the the awl (wouldn't miss it) to have the scissors.

Oddly enough...Leatherman doesn't have this on their website! :thinking:

Great! Thanks for the update. And I agree that sacrificing the small screw driver and awl is tough! I guess I have some thinking to do.

I don't recall the website. IIRC, I don't think it was a "pre-order", just their expected date to have it in stock.

I picked a Leatherman PS4 up from the Leatherman factory on Friday and it is an awesome tool! I'm very happy with it. Excellent design.

Now I'm trying out various setups for my keychain. I'm thinking of putting the PS4 on along with a 4Sevens CR2 Mini (warm). I tend to keep my keys to a minimum (as in just the house key and a little tiny micro light with the car keys removable when I don't need them), but I love these new little tools so much that I think it would be handy to keep them with me all the time. I do tend to carry a leatherman in my bag at all times and I always have a AAA Fenix clipped in to my pants pocket. So, the question I'm asking myself is whether or not to bulk up my keys. I can't decide. :thinking:

Yea, my Keys are becoming heavier and heavier with the more tools I put on them.
I have a Leatherman P4 on it now which I plan on replacing with the new PS4.
I also have a 4sevens Titanium Preon clicky on it.
It will be nice to have scissors and pliers.

You've got me thinking that maybe the Titanium Preon would be nice to put on my keychain. A little bit thinner than the Mini CR2. I'll have to think about that. Thanks for the idea!

Yea I really like it on my keychain, it replaced a Fenix AAA light I had. I really like the strobe, sos, and beacon modes.
Just posted my old Squirts and Micra for sale in the CPFmarketplace so I can buy the new PS4 as a replacement without having too much.
