LED conversion for my Fathers Streamlight Scorpion.

My Father has a Streamlight Scorpion I bought for him a long time ago I want to upgrade it to LED. I found this old thread that says you can replace the head with the Streamlight conversion head for a E2 So can I use a KX2 to upgrade the light.

can i modify a streamlight scorpion to fit led ?

I have several streamlight scorpion lights with incandescent bulbs and I thought about putting in a led emitter. does anyone know of someone doing that already and what parts I would need to buy ?
