led headlights

does this indicate that LED headlights are on the way or is this just a gee-whiz concept?

there was also a car mentioned here a short while ago, i don't remember what kind...

the general consensus was it just isn't happening yet.
at this point, the hid's are still brighter, cheaper, more effiecient, and more consistant.

eventually, i think most light sources will be led, but not for a while.

in the meantime, i will be content with led-everthing else in my car /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif (hopefully soon anyway...)
