I sourced some led tail llights today out of a merc and in disassembly i managed to break one of the lights :(

Can anyone here tell me what light this is? the voltage is 1.9V when dimmed and red in color. The plastic said it was made by hella but i'm betting it was just for ford and they won't help with replacing one.

additional info: the led voltage dimmed is 1.8-1.9 full bright is 2.3 or 2.4
here are some pictures.

Wow... bang-up thermal solution there. Major heat slugging onto copper busbar/heatsink!

They're somewhat similar to Superflux packages, you'd bend the stakes out to fit. The thermal design would be somewhat inferior, but it's just one LED. Get red-orange aka "sunset orange".
