LED interior install... rear don't work.

First post. Hey everyone. I need some help.

I just installed all LEDs in the interior spots, and the two map lights in the rear don't work. I swapped polarity as well as swaped lamps, and the same two sockets don't work. All the lamps work, just not in these sockets, but they work fine with the incandescent bulbs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Update...

Ok, well I pulled the entire map light piece and tested it against the battery and all worked. I hooked it back up except the ground and tested against a bare ground on the car and still nothing. So this makes me think that the voltage is too low for some reason, but I don't have a volt/ohm meter.

Any suggestions?

You don't list the type of vehicle, but I'll add my experience. I have a Dodge Megacab and added some LED interior lights. There are front map and mid maplights, then an additional interior light in the very back. When I exchanged the incan's with LED, the mid maps didn't work. I had to put the incans back in.....with the LED's for it to work. So, now it is very bright, but I expect the LED's will have issues if the interior light is left on for a long period (due to the heat from the incans). See what happens if you put a higher load on the circuit, if it works, you can just add more LEDs.

I've seen similar problems with other LED locations. Possibly the LED's don't draw enough current, so the car doesn't "send" it - kind of like it's reading a burned-out bulb in the socket.
