The title says it all. Looking for a LED lantern that has good flood for use in my ice fishing house. It obviously doesn't need to be a throw monster for indoor use but won't complain if it has a good combination of throw and flood. Prefer something that doesn't need expensive batteries.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

A visit to a good outdoor store should give you many ideas, have a look at those strip tent lights they look really impressive.

i picked up a streamlight "seige" lantern. i really haven't taken in outside for any use, but it seems like a sturdy choice with several attachment choices for you. floating and waterproof might be helpful for you. runs on 3 d cells and is pretty bright. i gave one to my uncle for his motorhome camping(says he loves it) and picked another one up for my mother in law(her power goes out often). if you have any questions, i'll try them for you.
