I just saw this light for the first time the other day

I loved the build and the focusable lens - I wasn't impressed with the output for 3 D (195) claimed or the cool white tint.

Anyone hear of someone modding this light and keeping the focusable aspect of the beam working? I'd love a light this but with closer 700 lumens & warm tint. Icing on the cake would be to have lambda lights varapower mode switch!

I have the p17 and it throws hell bright a very long way for a lonnnnng time. Tint's fine by me cos it lights up the target so well it doesn't need any "colour enhancement" and it's also the only handheld cylindrical style torch I've got that can throw as far as I can shoot and completely sh*ts all over my 300 lumen eagletacs.

I love it and the only "mods" I'd do would be to have the focus adjust by head-turning instead of push/pull and to make the knurling on the body much more aggressive (I fixed it by adding grip tape all over it).
