Hey all,

I need some CPF expertise. Has anyone seen any decent LED light bars with floody illumination? I would like to improve the lighting in the glass display cases at our store. I have seen the flourescent ones, but I would like some nice LED ones instead. The cases are about 4' wide, but I could get away with something close or two smaller bars if I had to.

Any ideas?

Agreed.

GE VIO makes an excellent tungsten replacement LED bar. Phillips makes a more 'neutral' one. I can't remember the name but you'll also see a lot of styles in the refrigerators at supermarkets.

I believe they go for around 50-100$/foot.

I forgot I had posted this thread.

I would like to get it done for under $200. The lighting is not a necessity, but the store has a full glass front window and this is Georgia, so super bright sunlight is coming through and washing out the overhead lighting pretty much all day long.

That link dosmun posted looks very promising.

Does anyone have any idea about using bars that do not take up the entire length of the units? I am wondering if a 24" bar is going to produce enough floody light for a 48" unit. I am thinking one in the front and one in the back.
