Given the continuing technological advances in both NiMH capabilities and light manufacturers' circuitries, I thought a repository thread would prove helpful to those seeking which specific lights (single or multi cell) are optimized for performance on NiMH - both in terms of output/runtime efficiency and/or max output. Battery size does not matter. Let's harness the considerable collective CPF conscious with recommendations. Over time it will be interesting to note the performance progression...



To start things off, I submit the:



ZebraLight SC51: 200 OTF lumens for .9 hours on a single AA Sanyo 2000 mAh Eneloop (as per their website). Please see selfbuilt's excellent review.
