Probably the wrong place to post but you all have the answer! I paddle a 2 person Outrigger canoe. My 8 year old son wants us to take it out and join a lighted xmas boat parade. Thought it would be awesome for him. Any ideas how I would hook up LED xmas lights to some power source ??? Needs to be slightly water proof (I can probably put the power source in a bag if it won't get too hot). Any ideas???

I would suggest some AA powered LED Christmas string lights, you can find them on Amazon. I have a few warm white sets that I have used on camping trips in our tents and they work great.

You could go with solar string lights too..They last all night on a charge.. or just put in a couple fresh batteries..

One more thing..the solar lights are made to be in the rain. My son is too young for that, but that sounds like a blast! I hope you boys have fun!!
