I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the two solitaires that LEDASAP modded for me. I purchased two R2H 1 watt luxeons from dat2zip for the mods. I ordered one of them for my wife`s birthday present. I was looking for something brighter than the Arc AAA LE that I use as an EDC.
The solitaire I would guess is about three times as bright as the Arc. A good hotspot and a nice wide spill. As a matter of fact, I am quite amazed how wide the spill area is, considering how small the head of the solitaire is.
The beam is a nice white beam compared to the blueness of the Arc. Don`t get me wrong, the Arc AAA LE is a rugged little flashlight, but I was never satisfied with the color rendition or the intensity of light it put out.
