I thought I would mention Leds Magazine in case anyone here might be interested. They call themselves "the leading global information source for the LED community. " I see them as being a trade magazine for people who are in the LED industry. You can get the magazine online as a free PDF or offline for $55(US)/year. They don't have the close-up nitty gritty detail of this forum, but they do have wonderful picture of things like the Grand Prix under 200,000 networked led lights. (shiny!)
The December '09 issue (page 19) mentions something that is long overdue. The American Department of Energy is planning something called "The Lighting Facts Label Program" which would create a uniform standard to honestly label lighing products, something which we Usans desperately need.
