Both good lights and tough call. If I had to choose right now I'd go with the...

TK20R

USB rechargeable, nice bezel and slightly better throw.

TK20R is for me THE choice for it is the more tactical flashlight of the two, despite the "TAC" in PD35TAC.

PD35TAC if voting for best tactical light. It has an awesome beam profile and has a tactical mode to skip unneeded levels. Also lighter weight for use as a weapon light. It has momentary on and memory circuit to return to last used mode. A great tactical light.

Hmm... The PD35 looks more compact, but I'd probably go with the TK20R since neither is a super compact EDC light anyway. The TK20R probably has better heat dissipation with more mass and that classic TK11 shape with the grip ring is, well, classic. Oh and usb recharging.
