LFXT3 curious behavior

so, I have 2 brand new lights...one ramps up/down and access hi/low, but the other acts like a LFXT5 version---it skips to the next level and strobe etc...Is there a fix besides returning the "5" ui?

They are in different user modes. The LF3XT has 2 modes. One of your lights is in the Compact mode and the other is in the Full mode.

Edit to add: You might want to correct the typo in your thread title. It should be LF3XT - not LFXT3. It helps the search function.

Sound like the light that's in the Full mode has the mode memory turned on, too. I think that's the default setting.

If you do a 5xclick and press/hold to either light they should end up the same. If the lights are new they would of come with an operational manual which you will have to read to understand the light.

If you want to do any program changes you will have to refer to Budmans Flow chart.
