Hello,
I just finished testing my EL LGI, E2E/KL1, and CMG Reactor for runtime.
Results:
LGI lasted the longest and was brighter at every interval. I used brand new Duracells. At 5 hours it easily beat the KL1 and at 16 hours still had more light than my Arc AAA LE.
The Reactor did fairly well with alkalines but I have read it does better with lithiums. Alittle disapointed cause it was the least brightest and dimmed quite quickly, about 3 hours to ARC AAA LE levels.
The E2E/KL1 did great to about 5 hours than dimmed quite a bit and was no match for the LGI.
I used brand new Surefire batteries. It continued to run alittle below AAA LE level for another 11 hours until I terminated the test.
Now, I don't have light meters or multiple battery brands to test. I just use every day Duracells along with my own eyes for judgement.
I love all these lights. But for the brightest and longest running, theres no matching the 3AA cell LGI!
Love it.
