Li-Ion Battery Question

I've got extra Li-Ion Sharp camcorder batts that I'd like to use for a flashlight mod. Problem is I can't figure them out. There are three terminals marked: +, C, -. I get 1V between + and C, but nothing between any other pair. The batts work fine in the camera and are rated as 3.6V 4050mAh. What gives? Any ideas????
