Anyone have the Stella 180?

I have 2 and have been considering some mods to them. First thing I did was bolt the lights to the handlebar mount they swivel but not much, and they don't fall down when I hit a bump. Anyone else?

I have one and have to adjust the beam often when I hit bumps. How exactly did you stop that?

Anyways, take the light completely apart, unscrew the light from the horizontal pivot (side to side) and pop the slide on bracket off (unscrew the clamp screw and push up at the back it should pop off pretty easy).

Once you have it all apart push on the ball bearing and it should pop out the bottom along with the rubber stopper. With a couple of washers of the right size you can put the light head screw through the hole from the ball bearing and screw the light head onto the slide plate. Once aimed just tighten up the screw just don't over tighten. Put it on adjust the vertical aim a little lower or higher than you want because it will pull off the point as you tighten.

No more miss aimed lights from bumbs.

Was disappointed to hear that the newest version of their "Vega" light (designed for commuters, integrated battery pack) was being manufactured overseas; Light & Motion, don't do that to me!

Disappointed here too, if that's true. I've always been more than happy to pay for the quality of their product, in addition to them being a (fairly) local enterprise. Keep it at home, L&M guys...
