Light for my DAD

is there a better option than a legend lx for my dad? he's not light savvy and doesn't have a cpu so online ordering is out. he can pick up a legend, or i can, at the local wal mart.

i thought the legend would be a good affordable light and provide much better light than his current gag 3C. he can order bulbs direct from brinkman. i'll give him lithiums.

But you do have internet connection, right? Maybe you can order online for your dad?
Why not give him surge? it uses common AA and brighter too.

I gave my dad a surefire G2 and some extra lithiums, he's quite happy with it, or the scorpion is another option.

If you give someone a light that uses 123 batteries and they don't have a means to get the cheap 123's, you're not doing them any favors. I gave my father a modified AA Minimag. A Minimag is technology he understands!

Someone posted the other day that Botach has G2's with 20 SF batts. for $40.00. Doesn't sound too bad.

don't forget the reputation of the dealer, Botach, and the shipping too.
Minimag with BB or Inretech should serve the purpose. (but still has to order online, though)
