Lighting up my yard

I just came across this forum and I'm sure one of you has the answers to my questions.

I am looking to light up my back yard in the brightest and most economical way possible, but insist on LEDs. My rear property line is set back about 40 feet from the rear of my house and runs about 150 feet long. I'm at the end of a cul-de-sac so my property is pie shaped.

I'm thinking about getting 4 of these ebay Item number :190589315165. I want to place three along the rear of the house over a distance of 75 feet and one on the side of the house.

1. Will they light up my yard @ 900 lumens each with 120° beam? Not like a stadium, but enough to not feel like I'm working in shadows.
2. Can you tell if they are quality, or junk?
3. Should I go with the 6000K, 900 lumens - daylight/cool white or the 3000K, 800 lumens - warm white? Will I notice a difference between the two?

There are other options similar to this, 20w & 50w fixtures with 1800 & 2700 lumens, respectively, but also correspondingly higher costs.

Maybe as bright as a hallway, so 28 lux? Is that right?

10w isn't enough. Warmwhite would be less tiring on the eyes. Coolwhite is like bleach, but brighter if you're looking for the 'most' light. If there is reasonable lighting overlap, you can also mix the warm and cool lights.

I'll recommend that you up size to at least the 20w versions in warmwhite. And, they are all hit/miss in quality depending on supplier. They are also easy enough to rebuild when needed. Independently wired 50w lights will allow you to pick the amount of light you want, and you won't be lacking in output.

The good thing is that the 10w light is relatively inexpensive. So, if you get 4 and its not enough, you can add more. But, how many more mounting locations do you want?

Also look at ebay item 300594439905 as it gives similar output in a different sized housing.

Note the lighting amount, yard size, power wattage.... so that you can get an idea on how much you need.

Here's a sample spreadsheet with some numbers possibly close to yours.

A field is
14 meters on a side

6 towers support
100 W incand. Lamps
with luminous efficacy of
30 lumens/watt

The illuminance desired is
200 lumens/sq. meter(=lux)
Assume
50 percent of the lamp light
reaches the field

How many lamps are needed in each tower?
6 x 100 x 30 =
18000 total lumens from
6 lamps
196 sq. meters of field
times
200 lumens/sq. meter
equals
39200 lumens

Since only half the light reaches the field
you need 2 times the lamp lumens
equals
78400 lumens

this number divided by
total lumens from one lamp
per tower equals
4, the number of lamps per tower
