Just came across an article on yahoo about a young African boy named Richard Turere who invented/discovered a clever system involving LED lights to deter Lions from killing his families live stock at night which seems to be a huge problem for most families there. Very interesting articles that have me thinking what possible LED lights/lighting systems can be advised to the region with most of us CPFers being knowledgable with LED lights :naughty:. I would think some slow strobing XML/XML2 emitters all around the Bomas for their floody goodness covering large areas the lions would stay away from.

Not sure is I placed this thread in the proper location so please forgive me. This is about LED lights so I figured it was the best place for it as opposed to the Cafe where its mainly about non-light related threads.
