Lionheart Programming Question

Ok, can you believe it? I just today decided to play around with the modes. Way cool. I get em all except one. The 3 click mode. Do you do this at power-up? Charlie's instructions state that the force mode is only available in Mode 1. So............do ya put it in mode 1 first, then do the 3 click thing? I can get into the mode where you push and hold the switch and it steps thru the 5 levels of brightness thing, but I can't seem to figure out the click the switch and each click steps thru those settings. Force mode? Ok, no biggie, just curious.

Force mode is for UI1. You set it in the power-on menu mode, by clicking 3 times to select the Force option. You then click through from DIM to Full_Bright and back off (force off). Typically you would set it mid-way (or whatever you want). Once set and the option is saved (same as all other menu options), Force will be available. ALL it does it provide the turn on default level for UI1, i.e. it overrides the previous level you may have adjusted the light to. It doesn't give you a clicking option or anything else.

You can set the Force level in the Force menu whether the light is in UI0 or UI1 - it just doesn't have any effect if you have UI0 selected.

Got it George. Thanks! I was trying to set the level after the flash. Its 3 clicks wait a second then select then wait for the flash. Got it!

Oooh! Don't wait for the flash, or you're DONE! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I think you have it now... three clicks, wait for the emitter to light *dim* and click for the level you want from there. Remember that one of the options (after full bright) is *dark* meaning that you have turned force off.

(BTW, in V2, force will work with UI0 AND UI1. You'll set it the same way, and it will simply work (or now work!) in both UIs.
