It's reported here that possibly incorrect charging of a Lithium Ion Polymer R/C battery pack started a fire that burnt down a house http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1201051

Poor guy lost everything. Unfortunately I don't suppose we'll ever find out exactly what happened.

Another tragedy and good reminder to learn proper, safe Lithium Ion/LiPo cell charging and handling procedures, or don't use them.
