This is a neat little device for Maglites or any other standard diameter flashlight. It's called the "Lite-Ring" and it attaches to the front or rear of the flashlight. It has a strong rubber band which slips over the flashlight barrel and spring clip hook which is convienent for attaching to a belt loop or a wall hanger.
It's made by
www.Niteize.com
and sells for about $3.50.

Here's mine on my 6D Maglite.

i have one. i'm a bit paranoid that the rubber will slip off at the end. maybe if it gets wet.
if you put it on the head area, it's in the way of your hands.
i guess i'm picky.
i think i would be more satisfied with a magring.

Mine fits pretty tight on the barrel. I guess if you would get it really wet it may slip. As I only use the 6D for dog walks it will come in handy when I need both hands free. (as in poopascoopabag):D:knight:

I have one of those. I used it last summer quite a bit. I'd attach it to my Inova Bolt AA and clip it to my belt loop. I like the fact that it stretches a bit to accomodate different lights.
