I've EDC'd the LF2x quite a bit, via the clip, and have had zero out of pocket experiences. :) Great light and I can't wait for the LF2XT.

It's worked well for me when I've used it. It's normally on my keys unless I need it for an extended time, then I clip it on my pocket or shirt. I've never been worried about it falling off.

I EDC my LF2X (amongst others) with it clipped to my shirt pocket and have never had any problems with the light loosening or disappearing to places unknown. If the clip looses tension it can be dismantled and easily retensioned. Works for me.

I have my LF2X in my left front pocket beside my fisher bullet pen every single day and have not had any problem with it. However I would not trust the clip to keep it there if I was out hiking or climbing.

I had the clip fail on me once [edit: twice] so far. I had it clipped to an inside jacket pocket, took off the jacket, put it over my shoulder, and the light fell to the ground. Fortunately I heard it.

I love the LF2X but the clip is only so-so for strength. Plus, since it's bent wire, only two tiny points are in contact where the clip grips your pants/pocket/etc.

And now that I think about it, I lost it again when it was clipped to my jeans pocket. I was sitting down and somehow brushed something against the clip and it managed to pull the entire light out of my pocket without me noticing. Was at dinner, fortunately thought to check for it before I left, found it in the crack of the booth where I was sitting. :O
